ABOUT CARY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Cary Christian Academy (CCA) is a fully accredited, affordable, non-denominational Christian School located in Woodbridge Virginia.
CCA is staffed with highly qualified teachers that care deeply. From kindergarten through 12th grades, the A-Beka curriculum is used for instruction. In all grades, CCA students consistently test one to two grades higher than the norm, with the majority of our upper grades testing at post high school levels.
The Cary Christian Academy is a team effort: students, teachers, parents, church, community and administration working together to create a positive learning climate in which students can lay the foundations for college and adult life. This is achieved through well-developed intellectual, spiritual, social, physical and emotional experiences within a framework of a Christian world view.
While participating in a sequential academic curriculum, students are challenged to strive for personal excellence, extension of self-confidence, development of strong study skills and demonstration of respect and responsibility toward themselves and others.
During their years at CCA, students are encouraged to become self-disciplined, to develop a positive attitude toward life-long physical fitness and good sportsmanship, to grow in an awareness of the obligations as responsible citizens, to appreciate the fine arts and to mature in their relationship with God.
Each teacher guides students into properly sequenced learning tasks while involving them as thinkers, producers and contributors so that they recognize their own unique talents. The instructors at CCA are pledged to increasing intellectual achievement through the use of standard and innovative teaching techniques. At the same time, they serve as role models and Christian examples for their students. Interaction between faculty and students is enhanced through extra-curricular activities centering around student government, academic clubs, athletics, fine arts, and most importantly worship!
Students of all races and color, national or ethnic origin are welcome. The educational experience is enriched when the program and activities at CCA are shared by individuals from varying backgrounds. The administration of educational and admissions policies, financial assistance programs, athletic programs and other school administered programs is consistent for all students.
